Milestones: 30 years Ammer Systemtechnik.

The company was founded on 1 August 1990 by Eckhart Ammer as sole shareholder. Two years later, on 5 March 1992, the company was converted into Ammer Steuerungstechnik GmbH with Eckhart Ammer as managing director. At that time, the focus was on the development of electrical circuit diagrams and software for freely-programmable control systems as well as their delivery, assembly and commissioning.

In 1994 the first employee was hired, followed in 1995 by the relocation to new business premises in Augsburg and the expansion of the team. Five years later, on 21 March 2000, the company changed its name to Ammer Systemtechnik GmbH. The portfolio now included the development, supply, assembly and commissioning of system components for the automotive industry as well as the creation of electrical circuit diagrams and software in plant engineering.

2008 company founder Eckhart Ammer died in a traffic accident. His son Stefan Ammer took over the management and continues to lead the company with innovative and high-quality solutions. 2010 Ammer Systemtechnik received the certification according to DIN ISO 9001/2008.

In 2013, the workforce increased to 20 employees, with the company offering two apprenticeships as well as a dual education system in mechanical engineering. During a successful cooperation in the field of film removal from surfaces, Foilpuller GmbH was founded. In 2014, strong growth leaded to another relocation to a new production building with an attached office wing. The 4500 square meter area is located in Bobingen near Augsburg and offers enough space for production and team.

In 2018 the re-certification according to DIN ISO 9001/2015 was carried out, the staff now comprises 30 employees. Our own certified measuring equipment for the calibration of leak test systems was developed in 2019. In 2020 Ammer Systemtechnik celebrates its 30th birthday.
